Description

The Arcena is a 1500mm circular LED pendant light built around a continuous white metal hoop with an integrated LED strip running its inner circumference. The hoop measures just 25mm deep, creating a floating ring of warm 3000K light that reads as a clean horizontal line in the space rather than a fixture with visual mass.

Designed for open-plan residential spaces, reception areas, boardrooms and hospitality interiors where ceiling height allows a dramatic central feature, the Arcena hangs on a 2500mm adjustable cable that can be shortened during installation to suit rooms from 2.7m to 5m ceiling height. The circular form works over dining tables up to 2m diameter, kitchen islands, or centrally in a lounge to define seating zones beneath it. The IP20 rating limits it to dry indoor environments.

The white powder-coated aluminium frame keeps the visual weight minimal while providing structural rigidity across the full 1.5m span. The integrated LED eliminates the need for separate bulbs or drivers visible from below, and the 3000K colour temperature sits in the warm-white range that pairs comfortably with both daylight and tungsten sources in mixed-lighting schemes. The light output is non-dimmable and draws from a single connection point at the canopy, simplifying the electrical run.

Ideal Lux manufactures the Arcena in Italy and backs it with a five-year warranty covering both the LED and the metalwork. The fitting arrives ready to hang with all pendant light components included, requiring only connection to a ceiling rose and adjustment of the cable drop to the desired height.

Can the Arcena be dimmed?

No. The integrated LED runs at a fixed output and is not compatible with dimmer switches. For dimmable circular pendant lights, see other models in the Ideal Lux range or contact us for alternatives.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 2500mm cable allows the pendant to be suspended in rooms with ceiling heights from approximately 2.7m upwards. For a dining table or island, the hoop typically sits 700-900mm above the surface. The cable can be shortened during installation but not lengthened.

Is the LED replaceable?

The LED is integrated into the metal hoop and is not user-replaceable. The five-year warranty covers LED failure. Integrated LEDs in this category typically deliver 30,000+ hours of operation before degradation becomes noticeable.

Can it be used in bathrooms?

No. The IP20 rating means the fitting is suitable for dry indoor spaces only. It is not rated for use in bathrooms, wet rooms, or outdoor covered areas where moisture is present.
