Description

The Arcena is a 90cm circular LED pendant light built from a single continuous ring of matt black aluminium with an integrated LED strip running the inner edge. The 4000K LED produces cool white light that illuminates both downward and inward, creating a halo effect around the ring itself whilst casting functional light onto the surface below.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and reception desks where the ceiling height allows a pendant to hang 700-900mm above the working surface, the Arcena provides task light without the glare of a traditional central ceiling fitting. The 2500mm cable length is adjustable during installation, allowing the pendant to be set at the correct height for the space. The circular form works over round, oval and rectangular tables up to approximately 2m in length.

The matt black finish absorbs light rather than reflecting it, keeping the focus on the illuminated ring and the surface below rather than on the fitting itself. The 25mm profile of the ring keeps the overall form lightweight and unobtrusive despite the 90cm diameter. The integrated LED is non-dimmable and rated IP20 for dry indoor use only. At 4000K the colour temperature sits between warm white (2700K-3000K) and daylight (5000K+), providing clear visibility for tasks like food preparation or paperwork without the cooler clinical tone of commercial office lighting.

Can the Arcena be used with a dimmer switch?

No. The integrated LED is non-dimmable and will not function correctly if paired with a dimmer. It operates at full brightness on standard 230V mains only.

What size table does the 90cm diameter suit?

The 90cm ring works over dining tables and kitchen islands up to approximately 2m in length. For larger tables or islands over 2.5m, consider pairing two Arcena pendants spaced evenly along the length.

What's the difference between 4000K and warmer colour temperatures?

4000K is cool white, providing clear task light that's brighter and more neutral than the warm amber tones of 2700K-3000K LEDs. It suits kitchens, offices and workspaces where visibility matters more than ambient warmth. For dining rooms and living spaces many users prefer the warmer 3000K variants if available.

Can the cable length be adjusted?

Yes. The 2500mm cable is adjustable on installation, allowing the pendant to be set at the correct drop height for your ceiling. Excess cable is typically coiled inside the ceiling canopy.
