The Arcena is a 90cm circular LED pendant light built around a continuous white metal ring housing an integrated 4000K LED strip. The ring measures 900mm in diameter with a 25mm profile depth, creating a thin horizontal halo that floats on a 2500mm adjustable suspension cable. The 4000K colour temperature sits in the neutral-white range, providing crisp task-oriented light without the warmth of 3000K or the clinical edge of 5000K.

Designed for open-plan living areas, dining tables and kitchen islands where the pendant can hang centrally within the space, the Arcena works best in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.7m or above to allow the 900mm diameter to clear head height while remaining visually present. The thin 25mm profile means the ring reads as a graphic line rather than a mass, so it sits comfortably in minimalist and contemporary interiors without dominating the visual field. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor environments.

The white powder-coated metal frame diffuses the LED strip evenly around the full circumference, eliminating visible hotspots or dark sections along the ring. The cable length is adjustable during installation, allowing the pendant to be set at the correct height above a dining table (typically 700-800mm clearance) or kitchen worktop (600-900mm clearance) depending on the room. The integrated LED is non-replaceable but carries a 5-year warranty from Ideal Lux.

Is the Arcena dimmable?

No. The integrated LED driver does not support dimmer compatibility. The light output is fixed at the rated wattage and cannot be adjusted once installed.

What ceiling height is needed for a 90cm pendant?

The 900mm diameter requires ceiling heights of 2.7m or above to hang the pendant 700-800mm above a dining table or worktop while maintaining comfortable head clearance underneath. Lower ceilings can accommodate the Arcena if the cable is shortened, but the large diameter may feel visually heavy in rooms under 2.5m.
