Description

The Arcena is a 70cm diameter circular LED pendant light built from a continuous white-finished metal ring with an integrated LED strip running the circumference. The LED provides 4000K neutral white light, cooler than warm white domestic lighting but warmer than commercial daylight, making it suited to spaces where clarity matters: dining tables, kitchen islands, home offices, and reception areas.

Designed for ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Arcena hangs on a 2500mm adjustable cable that can be shortened during installation to suit the ceiling height and the surface below. Over a dining table the ring typically sits 700-800mm above the tabletop; over a desk or kitchen island 600-900mm depending on whether the user needs direct task light or ambient illumination. The IP20 rating restricts it to dry indoor use.

The 25mm-deep ring profile keeps the visual weight minimal when viewed from the side, so the Arcena reads as a thin hoop of light rather than a bulky fixture. The white powder-coated metal finish pairs with white ceilings and works across contemporary, Scandinavian and minimalist interiors. The integrated LED is non-replaceable and non-dimmable, running at a fixed 4000K output on 230V mains.

Can this be dimmed?

No. The integrated LED runs at a fixed output on 230V mains and is not compatible with dimmer switches or dimming systems.

What's the difference between 4000K and 3000K?

4000K is neutral white, cooler and crisper than the 3000K warm white typically used in living rooms and bedrooms. 4000K suits task-focused spaces like offices, kitchens and dining areas where clarity is needed, while 3000K provides a softer, more relaxed tone for ambient lighting.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 2500mm cable allows installation in rooms with ceiling heights from 2.4m upwards. The cable can be shortened during fitting to position the ring at the desired height above a table or worktop.

Can the LED be replaced if it fails?

No. The LED is integrated into the ring and cannot be replaced. The fitting carries a 5-year warranty from Ideal Lux covering manufacturing defects and LED failure within normal use.
