Description

The Arcena is a 500mm diameter circular LED pendant light built around a white-painted metal ring housing an integrated 3000K LED strip. The ring profile measures 25mm deep, creating a slim floating hoop that casts both downward task light and an upward wash onto the ceiling. The integrated LED is dimmable via a compatible trailing-edge or leading-edge dimmer fitted to the mains circuit.

Designed for installation above kitchen islands, dining tables and open-plan living areas with ceiling heights of 2.4m or higher, the Arcena provides general ambient light from a single 500mm ring. The 2500mm cable length allows the suspension height to be adjusted during fitting, typically placing the ring 600-900mm above a worktop or 700-800mm above a dining table. The IP20 rating restricts the light to dry indoor areas only.

The white powder-coated metal finish gives a clean neutral appearance that recedes against white or light-coloured ceilings. The 3000K colour temperature delivers warm white light comparable to halogen, avoiding the cooler blue cast of 4000K+ LEDs. The LED strip is factory-sealed inside the ring and is not user-replaceable, so the entire fitting is treated as a consumable once the LED reaches end-of-life, typically after 30,000-50,000 hours depending on use patterns.

Yes. The integrated LED is dimmable when paired with a compatible trailing-edge or leading-edge dimmer module fitted to the mains circuit. Dimmer compatibility varies by manufacturer, so check with the dimmer supplier before pairing to confirm the LED load is supported.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 2500mm cable allows adjustment during installation. For typical use above a kitchen island or dining table, the ring is usually suspended 600-900mm above the surface, which suits ceiling heights of 2.4m or above. Lower ceilings can still accommodate the light if the cable is shortened during fitting.

Can the LED be replaced?

No. The LED strip is factory-sealed inside the metal ring and is not user-replaceable. The entire fitting is treated as a consumable once the LED reaches end-of-life, typically after 30,000-50,000 hours of use.
