Description

The Arcena is a 150cm diameter circular LED pendant light with an integrated LED strip housed inside a matt black metal ring profile just 25mm deep. The LED casts 4000K neutral white light downwards and upwards simultaneously, providing both task illumination below and ceiling wash above. The ring hangs on three suspension cables adjustable up to 2500mm, allowing it to be set at dining table height, mid-room for general lighting, or closer to the ceiling in lower spaces.

Designed for dining rooms over large tables, open-plan kitchen-dining spaces, offices and commercial interiors where clean lines and functional light are priorities, the Arcena provides direct-indirect illumination without visible bulbs or lamp heads. The 150cm diameter suits tables 180-240cm long or room widths of 3.5-5m. The slim profile and continuous circular form give the fitting minimal visual weight despite the large diameter, making it suitable for ceiling heights from 2.4m upwards.

The matt black finish on the aluminium ring absorbs light rather than reflecting it, keeping attention on the lit ceiling and task surface below rather than the fitting itself. The integrated LED is fixed at 4000K, a neutral white that sits between warm residential lighting and cool office lighting, making it versatile across residential dining areas and commercial spaces. The non-dimmable driver simplifies installation and reduces upfront cost. IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor locations only.

No. The integrated LED driver is non-dimmable. If dimming is required, consider a different model from the Ideal Lux range or a third-party circular pendant with dimmable driver options.

What size dining table does the 150cm diameter suit?

A 150cm diameter pendant works well over dining tables 180-240cm long. For tables under 160cm, the 100cm or 120cm Arcena variants may be better proportioned. For tables over 250cm, consider two smaller rings or the 200cm variant if available.

Can the suspension height be adjusted after installation?

The three suspension cables are adjustable during installation up to 2500mm maximum drop. Once the cables are trimmed and fixed at the desired height, further adjustment requires re-accessing the ceiling rose and re-trimming the cables.

What colour temperature is 4000K?

4000K is neutral white, cooler than the 2700-3000K warm white used in most residential lighting, but warmer than the 5000-6500K cool white used in hospitals and industrial settings. It provides clear task lighting without the yellow cast of warm white or the blue cast of daylight white.
