Description

The Arcadia is a tall outdoor post light built around a slim stem that carries a white PMMA column at the top, standing 1536mm high on a round base. The diffuser wraps the lamp on every side, so the light reads as a soft upright glow rather than a hard beam, and it spreads out and down across the ground around it. Lit, it stands as a lit column over a path, a border or a patio edge; unlit, the white diffuser on its powder-coated stem reads as a quiet vertical marker in the garden.

It takes a single E27 lamp, which is not included, so the tone and brightness are yours to choose: fit a warm 3000K lamp for a soft evening glow, or a brighter cool-white lamp where more light is wanted along a route. Because the diffuser is opal PMMA, the lamp inside is hidden and the light comes through evenly with no glare spot, which suits a spot you walk past close to. It is not dimmable at the fitting, though a dimmable E27 lamp on a compatible dimmer brings the level down.

The base and stem are powder-coated metal, the diffuser is white PMMA, and it runs on a neoprene outdoor cable with a plug. Rated IP65 against dust and driven rain, it is made to stand out in the open through the seasons. We supply the post ready to site and wire; an E27 lamp up to 42W is added separately to light it.
