Description

We stock the Antic as an opal glass pendant with satin gold metalwork, built around a ribbed white glass dome roughly 300mm across. The vertical ribbing spreads the light over the surface of the shade, and a fluted glass column above the dome adds a second layer of detail. A satin gold sphere sits between the column and the dome, with a matching gold canopy and cable suspension, and it ships with a 60W LED giving 510 lumens of warm white light at 2700K through the diffusing glass.

We would hang this over a dining table, a kitchen island or in an entrance hall where the ceiling is 2.4m or higher, and the cable length is adjustable during installation so you can set the drop to suit the room and the surface below. The opal glass softens the output into a diffused glow that works both as gentle task light over a table and as ambient light in a hallway or living space, and the white glass and satin gold pair comfortably with warm-toned rooms, brass hardware and both traditional and contemporary schemes.

The pendant takes a single E27 Edison screw bulb up to 60W and comes with a 60W 2700K LED already fitted, with a 180 degree beam angle, 80 CRI and an E energy rating. It runs on standard 220-240V mains and is not dimmable. With an IP20 rating it is for dry indoor use only, so keep it clear of bathrooms and other wet or damp locations.

Frequently Asked

What bulb does it take and is one included?

Is it dimmable?

No. This pendant is not dimmable, so we would run it on a standard on/off switch rather than a dimmer circuit.

Where can I use it?

It suits dining tables, kitchen islands and entrance halls with ceilings of 2.4m or higher. With an IP20 rating it is for dry indoor locations only, so it is not suitable for bathrooms or other damp spaces.

Can I adjust the drop height?
