Description
The ANTEM LED is a 50W outdoor floodlight giving 4000 lumens of neutral 4000K white from a single sealed head. The light spreads through a wide 100 degree beam, washing a broad area with even illumination rather than throwing a narrow spotlight, which suits boundary walls, driveways and yard frontages. Floodlights like this are sold as outdoor security lights across the US market, and the ANTEM fills that role directly. At 80 lm/W it is far more efficient than the halogen fittings it succeeds, and in old-money terms its 4000 lumen output replaces roughly a 200W halogen floodlight, so it draws a quarter of the power for a comparable spread of light.
Mounted on an exposed wall, soffit or under an eave, the ANTEM covers the kind of space you would light for movement and security, a parking bay, a side passage, a small forecourt or a garden approach. The wide 100 degree spread means it reaches across a working area rather than picking out one point, and a single unit handles a domestic drive or a compact commercial yard. For larger frontages, fit two heads to overlap their coverage and avoid dark gaps along a wall run. Mounting height of around 2.5 to 3 metres gives a useful throw without glare back at eye level.
The body is aluminium alloy in a black finish, rated IP65 so it stands up to rain and wind-driven water in fully exposed positions. The driver is built into the housing and runs on 220 to 240V AC mains, with no separate transformer to wire in. It mounts to a wall, ceiling or other surface on its bracket and is not dimmable, running at full 4000 lumen output whenever switched. Rated for 15,000 hours and weighing just 540g, it is a light fitting to install and leave. The ANTEM range also includes higher-wattage heads for bigger sites.

Frequently Asked
How bright is the ANTEM 50W floodlight?
It produces 4000 lumens of neutral white light at 4000K, with an efficiency of 80 lm/W. The wide 100 degree beam spreads that output across a broad area, making it well suited to driveways, yards and boundary walls.
What halogen wattage does it replace?
Its 4000 lumen output is roughly equivalent to an old 200W halogen floodlight, which produced about the same amount of light. The ANTEM does so at just 50W, cutting running costs to around a quarter while giving the same coverage.
Can it be used outdoors in the rain?
Yes. It carries an IP65 rating, so it is sealed against dust and protected from water jets and driving rain. This makes it suitable for fully exposed outdoor positions such as walls, soffits and yard mountings.
How should I clean the floodlight?
Switch it off and let it cool, then wipe the front lens and housing with a soft, damp cloth to clear dust, cobwebs and grime that can dull the output. Avoid abrasive cleaners or pressure washing directly at the fitting, and check the seals stay intact to keep its IP65 rating.
