Description

The Annie is a 4-light chandelier built around four curved steel arms finished in textured plaster white, spreading from a central column to a 610mm diameter spread. Each arm terminates in a candle-style socket taking an E14 bulb (sold separately, max 40W per socket). The textured plaster coating over the steel frame gives a hand-finished appearance with slight surface variation between pieces.

Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and bedrooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Annie's adjustable drop allows it to be set between 660mm and 2211mm from the ceiling using the supplied chain. For a dining table the chandelier typically hangs 750-850mm above the surface, which requires a ceiling height of at least 2.5m once the 552mm fitting height is added. The white canopy fits standard UK ceiling roses and the chain conceals the cable run.

The plaster finish gives the steel a matte, chalky surface that absorbs rather than reflects light, making the fitting itself recede visually while the four candle flames become the focal points. The curved arms balance symmetrically around the central column, giving the chandelier a 610mm footprint in both width and diameter. The textured coating adds approximately 1-2mm of thickness to the steel, creating a slightly irregular surface that catches light differently depending on viewing angle.

What bulbs does the Annie take?

The chandelier takes four E14 (small Edison screw) candle bulbs, maximum 40W per socket. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED candle bulbs between 4-6W and 2700K for a soft ambient glow.

What ceiling height is needed?

The minimum drop of 660mm plus the 552mm fitting height means the chandelier requires at least 2.4m ceiling height to avoid head clearance issues. For installation above a dining table, where the fitting typically hangs 750-850mm above the surface, a ceiling height of 2.5m or above works better.

Is the plaster finish fragile?

The textured plaster coating is applied over a steel frame, so the structure itself is robust. The plaster surface can chip if knocked during handling or installation, so care is needed when unpacking and fitting. Once installed the chandelier is durable under normal use.

Can the drop be adjusted after installation?

Yes. The chain can be shortened or lengthened during installation by adjusting how many links are concealed inside the canopy. Once the canopy is fixed to the ceiling the drop is set, but it can be altered again by lowering the canopy and re-threading the chain.
