Description
A chest of three drawers in solid acacia, 97cm tall, 82cm wide and 49cm deep, standing on four slim tapered legs. The drawers run the full width and are close to equal in depth, and each carries two short bar pulls set side by side towards the middle. The sides of the carcass bow out gently at the top and draw in again towards the bottom, so the frame curves rather than running square. The wood is a warm mid brown with strong figure in the grain, paler streaks and visible knots.
At 82cm wide and only 49cm deep this is a tall chest rather than a low, wide one, and it is made for a bedroom or a smaller space. Each drawer measures 66cm wide, 33cm deep and 19cm high inside. It weighs 47.3kg.
The chest is solid acacia throughout, finished in a deep walnut tone that brings out the grain. Each one is hand-carved and assembled, and the soft curves of the frame are shaped by hand. It belongs to the wider Anbu range, which also holds dining tables, dining and counter chairs, a bedside table, a wardrobe and beds.

Frequently Asked
How big is it?
97cm tall, 82cm wide and 49cm deep, weighing 47.3kg.
How many drawers are there?
Three, each 66cm wide, 33cm deep and 19cm high inside.
What is it made from?
Solid acacia, finished in a deep walnut tone.
How do I look after it?
The wood is treated with a sealant, but wipe the surfaces regularly with a soft dry cloth to remove dust and moisture, always working in the direction of the grain. Mild soap and water can be used, though not too much of it. Use coasters and mats, avoid putting wet items straight on the surface, and lift spills at once with a dry paper towel, then a damp lint-free cloth, drying immediately afterwards. Keep harsh chemicals and abrasive materials away from the finish.
Where should it not go?
Out of strong or direct sunlight, which causes fading, and away from extremes of heat and humidity, which can cause cracking and splitting. Do not leave rubber or plastic in contact with the finish. In a bathroom, make sure the room is well ventilated and the humidity controlled so that the wood does not swell.
