Description

We stock the Ambience as a flat disc pendant for hanging low over a dining table or kitchen island. A translucent 420mm disc sits between two slim black bars on twin cables, with an integrated 23W LED giving 1000 lumens of warm white (3000K) light through a frosted diffuser in a wide 120 degree spread.

We reach for this LED pendant light where you want downward task light without glare, so it works well over a table seating four to six or an island up to around 1.5m long. The flat disc keeps the fitting low in the visual plane, which helps with head clearance under standard ceiling heights, and the black powder-coated frame and twin-cable suspension suit modern kitchens and pared-back dining rooms.

The 23W LED is built in and dimmable, so you can take it from full brightness down to a low glow on a compatible trailing-edge dimmer (sold separately). It runs on 220-240V mains at 50Hz, renders colour cleanly at 80 CRI, and carries an IP20 rating for dry indoor rooms. If you need a larger fitting, we also stock the Ambience in a 600mm disc.

Frequently Asked

Is it dimmable?

Yes. The integrated LED dims on a compatible trailing-edge dimmer (sold separately), so you can set it from full brightness down to a soft glow for dining.

How big a table or island does it suit?

At 1000 lumens with a 120 degree spread, it lights a table seating four to six or a kitchen island up to about 1.5m long.

Does it come with a bulb?

No separate bulb is needed. The 23W LED is built into the disc and gives 1000 lumens of warm white 3000K light.

Can I use it in a bathroom?

No. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only. We would keep this one to dry indoor rooms. It is not protected against moisture.
