Description

The Almoster is a four-light linear pendant. A slim black steel ceiling bar holds four teardrop-shaped glass shades, which hang on fine black cables at staggered heights. The shades are vaporised glass in a copper colour, with a mirror-like sheen that plays against the black of the bar. Overall it measures 95.5cm long, 32cm wide and 150cm high. Each shade takes an E27 bulb of up to 28W. The bulbs are not included, so you choose the warmth and style of bulb that suits your room.

Because the four shades sit in a line, this pendant is at home over a long surface such as a dining table or a kitchen island. It spreads light along the length of the surface rather than gathering it in one spot. It suits an indoor room with a modern or industrial feel, where black steel and copper-toned glass sit happily beside dark painted walls, warm wood or brick. When the bulbs are lit, the tinted glass takes on a soft amber glow, so the fitting earns its place in the evening as much as during the day.
