Description
The Almora is a 400mm alabaster wall light built around an 80mm diameter cylinder of natural Spanish alabaster, banded top, middle and bottom with brass rings and mounted on a rectangular brushed brass wall plate. An integrated 10W 3000K LED sits inside the cylinder and casts warm light both upward and downward through the stone, with the central brass band defining the split between the two halves.
Designed for hallways, bedside positions, living rooms and stairwells, the Almora suits installations where layered ambient light is wanted instead of bright overhead lighting. The 110mm wall projection keeps the fitting close to the wall, making it usable in narrower hallways and beside beds without intruding into walking or sleeping space. Installed as a pair flanking a bed, mirror or doorway, the vertical proportions read as a piece of architectural detailing rather than a standalone lamp.
The cylinder is cut from solid Spanish alabaster, so each piece carries different veining, cloudy tonal shifts and translucency depending on the section of stone it was taken from. The structure behind the alabaster is solid copper finished in soft white, with brass banding at the top, centre and base that frames the stone and gives the fitting its segmented vertical rhythm. The brass wall plate is a simple rectangular bracket that anchors the cylinder cleanly against flat plaster.

Frequently Asked
Does it light up and down?
Yes. The integrated LED is housed inside the alabaster cylinder and the stone diffuses light through both the upper and lower halves of the fitting, giving an up-and-down wash effect through the translucent stone.
Is the LED replaceable?
The 10W 3000K LED is integrated into the fitting rather than being a replaceable bulb. It is rated at 230V and is covered by the 2-year warranty listed in the specification.
Can it be used in a bathroom?
No IP rating is listed for the Almora, so it should be treated as an indoor fitting for dry locations such as hallways, bedrooms and living rooms. It is not suitable for bathroom zones or external use.
Does the alabaster vary between pieces?
Yes. Each cylinder is cut from natural Spanish alabaster, so veining, cloudy tonal shifts and translucency vary between individual pieces. This is a feature of the natural stone rather than a defect.
