The Alexandra is a 600mm flush-mount crystal ceiling light with a polished chrome frame, nine E14 bulb fittings, and cascading layers of cut crystal hexagonal drops, crystal spheres, and densely-packed crystal bead strands. The fixture mounts directly to the ceiling with a 250mm drop from canopy to lowest crystal point, making it suitable for standard 2.4m ceiling heights where a full chandelier drop would intrude.

Designed for living rooms, dining rooms, entrance halls and bedrooms requiring both ambient and decorative light, the Alexandra combines functional nine-light output with the visual density of a traditional crystal chandelier adapted to a flush-mount format. The 40mm crystal spheres sit in the upper tier, while 62mm hexagonal drops hang in stepped cascades around the perimeter, widening into a bowl shape. A ring of tightly-packed crystal beads borders the lower edge, creating a concentrated band of sparkle that reflects both natural daylight and the light from the nine E14 bulbs above.

The polished chrome frame intensifies crystal reflections by bouncing light off the metal surfaces into the cut facets of the Asfour and Diyas crystal components. At 14.5kg the fitting requires secure fixing to a ceiling joist or reinforced ceiling rose — the weight is substantial but typical for a crystal flush light of this diameter. The Alexandra is dimmable when paired with dimmable E14 bulbs (sold separately), allowing output to be adjusted from bright task lighting to softer evening ambience.

No. The Alexandra takes nine E14 small Edison screw bulbs up to 60W each, sold separately. Most users pair this with 4-6W LED candle bulbs in warm white (2700K-3000K) for a combined output of 36-54W equivalent light with lower energy consumption.

Is it suitable for low ceilings?

Yes. The 250mm drop from ceiling canopy to lowest crystal point fits comfortably under standard 2.4m ceiling heights, leaving approximately 2.15m clearance below. This makes it suitable where a traditional chandelier drop would be too long.

Can the Alexandra be dimmed?

Yes, when paired with dimmable E14 bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch. The fixture itself is dimmer-compatible but requires dimmable lamps to achieve variable output.

How is the crystal cleaned?

Switch off and allow bulbs to cool fully. Use a soft dry microfibre cloth to wipe individual crystal drops and spheres. For deeper cleaning, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water works on the crystal surfaces, but avoid soaking the metal frame or bulb holders. Do not use chemical sprays or polishes on the crystal.
