Description

The Alexandra is an 865mm tall crystal table lamp built around a polished chrome central stem, supporting five E14 bulb fittings arranged within a tiered cascade of cut crystal beads. The crystals form two distinct bands — a narrower upper tier and a wider lower tier — creating a bell-like silhouette that tapers from 350mm at its widest point. A large faceted crystal finial tops the lamp, while smaller crystal spheres ring the lower edge.

Designed for console tables, entrance hall sideboards and bedroom dresser tops where a tall decorative light source is needed, the Alexandra provides both ambient light through the five bulbs and decorative sparkle from the crystal refractions. The 865mm height positions the light above most table-height objects, making it visible from across a room. The polished chrome base is weighted at 12.5kg to counterbalance the top-heavy crystal structure. An inline dimmer on the cable allows brightness adjustment without wall controls.

Each crystal bead is individually cut and strung on the chrome frame, creating faceted surfaces that catch and refract light in multiple directions when the bulbs are lit. The polished chrome finish reflects both natural daylight and the bulb light back through the crystals, intensifying the sparkle. The lamp requires five E14 candle bulbs up to 40W each (sold separately) and is compatible with incandescent and halogen bulbs only — LED and CFL bulbs are not supported due to the dimmer specification.

The lamp requires five E14 (small Edison screw) candle bulbs, each up to 40W maximum. Bulbs are sold separately. Due to the inline dimmer specification, only incandescent or halogen bulbs are compatible — LED and CFL bulbs are not supported.

Is the dimmer compatible with LED bulbs?
