Description

The Alexandra is a 600mm diameter crystal spiral chandelier built around a four-tier gold-finished frame suspending 25 E14 bulb fittings. Each tier holds a ring of precision-cut crystal strands that cascade downward in a spiral formation, creating a continuous column of refracted light from the top canopy to the lowest drop. The gold finish on the structural frame contrasts with the clear crystal, introducing warm metallic tones into the reflections.

Designed for entrance halls, dining rooms and double-height living spaces with ceiling heights of 2.1m minimum drop (up to 4.1m adjustable), the chandelier provides both ambient and decorative lighting across a substantial vertical presence. The 25 bulb positions distribute light evenly through the crystal layers, with each bulb casting light through multiple strands above and below it. The 28.6kg weight requires a ceiling rose rated for at least 30kg and professional installation onto a structural ceiling joist or reinforced fixing.

Each crystal element is facet-cut to catch and split light into the spectrum, so the chandelier creates moving patterns on surrounding walls and ceilings as the crystal catches different angles of natural and artificial light throughout the day. The gold frame runs vertically through the centre of the spiral, with horizontal rings supporting the crystal tiers at set intervals. What ceiling height is needed?

The minimum drop is 2100mm and the maximum is 4100mm, adjustable on installation by shortening or lengthening the chain. For a standard 2.4m ceiling the chandelier will hang close to floor level, so this fitting is designed for entrance halls, stairwells and double-height spaces with ceilings of 3m or higher.

What bulbs does it take and are they included?

The chandelier takes 25 E14 small Edison screw bulbs up to 20W each. Bulbs are not included. Most users fit warm white LED candle bulbs between 4-6W and 2700K for a softer light that complements the gold frame.

Is it dimmable?

How is the crystal cleaned?

For heavier dust buildup, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water can be used, but avoid soaking the crystals or getting moisture into the bulb fittings. Do not spray cleaning products directly onto the chandelier.
