Description
The Alba Large is a 1200mm linear pendant light built around a slim bar of natural Spanish alabaster, suspended on fine cables from a discreet brass-detailed canopy. The alabaster body acts as the diffuser itself, with G9 lamps housed inside the bar casting warm light through the stone to give a continuous, even glow along the full length of the fitting.
Sized for kitchen islands, long dining tables and reception desks, the 1.2m horizontal format spreads light evenly across the surface below rather than pooling it in one spot. The twin cable suspension is adjustable on installation, allowing the bar to be set 700-800mm above an island worktop or 750-850mm above a dining table. The slim 60mm height and 45mm depth keep the fitting visually light, so it does not crowd low or mid-height ceilings.
Each section of alabaster is cut from natural Spanish stone, so the veining, mineral patterning and tonal variation differ between fittings. The translucency of the stone changes character once lit, with warmer amber tones appearing where the alabaster is denser and softer cream where it thins. Brass detailing at the cable terminations and end caps provides a quiet structural contrast against the soft white stone without competing with it.
The restrained, architectural profile suits contemporary kitchens, minimal interiors and material-led schemes where the stone itself is intended to be the visual focus. The G9 lamp platform allows the colour temperature and output to be tuned to the room by selecting the appropriate bulbs.

Frequently Asked
What bulbs does the Alba take?
The fitting uses G9 lamps, which are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED G9 bulbs at 2700K-3000K to complement the natural amber tones in the alabaster. Refer to the specification tab for the maximum wattage per lamp.
What size space does it suit?
At 1200mm long the Alba Large is sized for kitchen islands and dining tables of around 1.6m to 2.4m in length, where the bar runs along the central axis of the surface. For longer islands, multiple Alba pendants can be hung in line.
Does the alabaster vary between pieces?
Yes. Each bar is cut from natural Spanish alabaster, so the veining, mineral patterning and translucency vary between individual fittings. The variation becomes more pronounced once the lamps are switched on. This is a feature of the natural stone, not a defect.
How is the alabaster cleaned?
Wipe gently with a dry, soft microfibre cloth. For more stubborn marks a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but avoid soaking the stone and do not use household sprays, polishes or chemical cleaners, as alabaster is porous and softer than marble.
