Description

The Aiva is a 122x81cm wall mirror built from three horizontal mirror panels set into a painted wood frame. Each panel sits recessed behind the frame edge, creating shadow lines between the sections when viewed from an angle. The frame itself is finished in a high-gloss white paint that gives clean reflections along the edges.

Designed for hallways, living rooms and above console tables or sideboards, the Aiva works where a single large mirror would dominate but multiple smaller mirrors would fragment the space. The horizontal panel layout suits wide walls and can be hung landscape above a sofa or console, or portrait in a narrow hallway. The 3cm frame depth projects slightly from the wall, giving the mirror physical presence without requiring deep mounting clearance.

The wood frame construction keeps the weight at 14kg, which is manageable for secure wall mounting using heavy-duty mirror fixings rated for this weight bracket. The three-panel design means that if one section develops edge silvering over time, it can be replaced without replacing the entire mirror. The high-gloss white finish pairs with contemporary, Scandinavian and minimalist interiors where clean lines and reflective surfaces are preferred over ornate frames.

Frequently Asked

How is the Aiva mounted to the wall?

The mirror requires heavy-duty fixings rated for at least 14kg. D-rings or keyhole fixings on the back of the frame hook onto wall anchors or screws driven into masonry or studs. The exact fixing method depends on your wall type — plasterboard walls need cavity anchors, solid walls need wall plugs.

Can it be hung portrait or landscape?

Yes. The horizontal panel layout works in both orientations. Landscape suits wide walls above consoles or sofas, portrait suits narrow hallways or bedroom walls where vertical height is available.

Does the frame scratch easily?

The high-gloss white paint finish shows marks more readily than matt or wood-grain finishes. Wipe gently with a soft microfibre cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or rough cloths that could dull the gloss.

What's the difference between the three panels?

The panels are identical in size and mirror quality. The separation creates shadow lines and gives the mirror a segmented, architectural look rather than a single unbroken reflection.
