Description
This recessed spotlight, part of the Glozo range, is a directional fitting that accepts a single GU10 twist-lock lamp. The bulb is not included, so you can choose the output and tone to suit the room. The head tilts up to 20° within its round trim, letting you aim the beam where you want it rather than fixing it straight down. It takes a lamp of up to 10W.
Built for recessed installation, it drops into a 90mm cut-out and sits roughly flush against the ceiling, with the slim Ø100 x 40 mm body keeping the projection above the plasterboard shallow. The adjustable head makes it well suited to highlighting a picture, washing a feature wall or marking out a zone such as a worktop or reading corner, where a fixed downlight would only light the floor beneath it. Several units can be set on the same line and each angled independently.
The housing is made from aluminium alloy, which helps draw heat away from the lamp, and is finished in your choice of white or black to blend with the ceiling or stand out against it. The IP20 rating means it is for dry interior spaces only, so keep it out of bathroom zones and away from direct moisture. Whether the fitting can be dimmed depends entirely on the GU10 lamp you fit, as the housing itself plays no part in that.
