Description

This adjustable recessed spotlight from the Glozo range is a directional ceiling fitting that takes a single GU10 twist-lock lamp, which is not included. The head tilts through 20 degrees, so the light can be angled away from straight down once the fitting is set into the ceiling. It is built for a standard 90mm cut-out and accepts lamps up to 2W, leaving the choice of brightness and tone to the bulb you fit.

Because the head pivots, this fitting suits rooms where light needs to be aimed rather than spread evenly. Use it to graze a feature wall, pick out artwork or a shelf display, or wash a worktop or reading zone from above. A run of them across a kitchen, hallway or living room ceiling lets each head point at its own target, and the tilt makes it simple to fine-tune the angle after installation. It is an IP20 fitting, so it is for dry indoor positions only and should be kept clear of bathrooms and exposed areas.

The body is aluminium alloy in a rectangular form measuring 185 by 100 by 40mm, finished in a choice of white or black to sit with most ceilings. It is a recessed fitting that drops into the 90mm cut-out, with the GU10 lamp twisting into the holder behind the trim. Whether the light dims depends on the bulb and switch you pair with it, not on the fitting itself.
