Description

This adjustable spotlight is a recessed fitting that accepts a single GU10 twist-lock lamp, which is not included so you can pick the brightness and tone that suits the room. The round head tilts through 20 degrees, letting you angle the beam away from straight down to aim it where it is wanted. It takes a lamp of up to 10W, drops into a 90mm cut-out and sits almost flush, with a slim Ø103mm trim and a 60mm body depth.

Because the head directs rather than floods, it suits picking out a framed picture, washing light across a textured wall, or marking a zone such as a reading chair, an island or a display shelf. Several fittings set in a line can be aimed individually to follow a run of artwork or a worktop. The IP20 rating means it is for dry interior use only, so keep it to living rooms, hallways, bedrooms and similar spaces and clear of bathroom zones or anywhere exposed to splashes.

The housing is aluminium alloy in a matte white finish that reads cleanly against a plain ceiling. Mounting is recessed via spring clips into the 90mm cut-out, with the tilt mechanism holding the chosen angle once set. A GU10 lamp is supplied separately, and whether the fitting can be dimmed depends entirely on the bulb you fit, so check the lamp's own rating for that. Part of the Laven range.

How far does the head tilt?

What size cut-out does it need?
