Description

The Adastra UM01 is a pair of universal speaker brackets in white, made to hold small home cinema and surround sound satellite speakers. They swivel left and right and tilt up or down, so you can point each speaker where you need it once it is fixed to the wall. Because they come as a pair, you have what you need for two speakers straight out of the box.

Each bracket comes with three sizes of 6mm diameter swivel arm, giving you a choice of spacing and angle to suit the room and the speaker. There is a 20mm straight arm, a 50mm right-angled arm and an 85mm right-angled arm. That range of arm lengths helps you clear skirting, corners and awkward wall features while keeping the speaker close to where you want the sound. The mounting plate has fixing centres of 62mm, and the mounting dimensions are 72 x 38 x 42mm.

Each bracket takes a maximum load of 3.5kg, which covers most compact satellite and surround speakers, and weighs 177g on its own. The combination of swivel and tilt makes it straightforward to fine-tune the direction of the sound after fitting, rather than being locked to one fixed position. If you are setting up a 5.1 or similar surround system with small speakers, these brackets give you a simple, adjustable way to get them off the shelf and onto the wall.
