Description

The Adare is a ceiling spotlight with three ribbed cylindrical heads, each set on a short jointed arm beneath a round ceiling plate, so you can angle every head on its own. It is made from brass and steel and measures 18.25cm tall and 20cm across, a compact fitting that keeps close to the ceiling. Each head takes a GU10 bulb, up to 5W per bulb. Bulbs are sold separately, so you will need three GU10 bulbs before it lights. We offer it in five finishes: Antique Brass, Antique Silver, Matt Black, Polished Brass and Satin Brass.

Three heads on one plate make it a practical light for a kitchen: aim one at the worktop, another at open shelving and the third across the room, all from a single ceiling point. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only, and it is an indoor fitting. The finishes let you match what is already in the room. Antique Brass has a warm, aged tone, Polished Brass is bright and reflective, Satin Brass is softer, Antique Silver is darker and cooler, and Matt Black is the plainest of the five.

The Matt Black finish is painted to RAL 9005, which helps if you are matching other painted details in the room. Every light is made to order for you in Ireland. The maker guarantees the fittings it makes for five years from the date of purchase, and bulbs are not covered. It is a mains fitting for a qualified electrician to install. Once it is up, set each of the three heads where you want the light, and change the angle whenever the room changes.
