Description

The Abersoch Stripe Cushion is a 50 x 50cm square made from 100% yarn-dyed cotton, with a striped design running across a soft blue ground. Yarn-dyed means the threads are coloured before weaving rather than printed afterwards, so the stripe is worked into the cloth itself and reads the same on both faces. Looking closely at the weave you can see the blue field broken by narrow white lines and finer darker and warmer threads, giving the fabric depth rather than a flat block of colour. It is a double-sided cover, so the pattern carries through front and back.
