Description
The Knightsbridge 4-gang modular faceplate accepts four 25x50mm euro-module inserts or two 50x50mm euro-modules, allowing installers to create bespoke outlet configurations for TV aerial, satellite, HDMI, USB, data and audio connections. The anthracite finish with a Light Reflectance Value (LRV) of approximately 8.9 meets Building Regulations Part M requirements for visual contrast between the faceplate and the wall, making switches and sockets easier to locate for users with impaired vision.
Designed for residential, office and hospitality installations where AV, data and power outlets need to be grouped in a single location, the faceplate suits TV wall positions, desk workstations and kitchen islands where HDMI, Ethernet and USB connections are required alongside standard sockets. The 146mm width and 86mm height match standard 2-gang UK socket dimensions, so the faceplate fits into existing back boxes and can be positioned alongside other Knightsbridge Curved Edge accessories without misalignment.
The thermoset resin construction resists yellowing and impact damage better than cheaper thermoplastic alternatives, and the material carries inherent anti-microbial properties tested to ISO 22196:2011, reducing bacterial accumulation on high-touch surfaces. The curved edges soften the profile and reduce the likelihood of sharp corners catching on clothing or bags. The faceplate projects 7mm from the wall once fitted and carries a 25-year warranty.

Frequently Asked
What modules does the faceplate accept?
The faceplate accepts four 25x50mm euro-module inserts or two 50x50mm euro-modules in any combination. Common modules include TV/SAT coax outlets, HDMI, Ethernet RJ45 data ports, USB charging ports, and 3.5mm audio jacks. Modules are sold separately.
Is this Part M compliant?
Yes. The anthracite finish has a Light Reflectance Value (LRV) of approximately 8.9, providing the 30% contrast ratio required by Building Regulations Part M when installed on typical painted walls. This makes the faceplate easier to locate for users with impaired vision.
What back box is required?
The faceplate fits a standard 25mm minimum back box depth. For installations housing multiple bulky euro-modules (such as HDMI or RJ45 inserts with rear cable terminations), a 35mm or 47mm back box is recommended to provide adequate cable management space.
Why use thermoset resin instead of plastic?
Thermoset resin resists yellowing, impact damage and heat deformation better than cheaper thermoplastic alternatives. It also allows the inherent anti-microbial properties certified to ISO 22196:2011, which reduce bacterial accumulation on the faceplate surface over time.
