Description
The Knightsbridge 4-gang modular faceplate provides four 25 x 50mm apertures for euro module inserts, allowing custom configurations of HDMI, USB, coaxial TV, telephone, data and other low-voltage connections behind a single brushed chrome plate. The apertures can also accept two 50 x 50mm modules or any combination of 25mm and 50mm widths that add up to four 25mm units.
Designed for home cinema installations, office desks, conference rooms and anywhere custom AV or data connectivity is needed without multiple separate faceplates, the modular system lets you specify exactly which ports appear at each wall location. The 149.3mm width covers a 2-gang back box footprint, and the 89mm height matches standard UK switch plate dimensions, so it integrates cleanly alongside power sockets and light switches in the same room.
The square edge design sits flush to the wall surface with a built-in gasket behind the faceplate perimeter, giving an IP20-rated seal against dust ingress. The brushed chrome finish is applied to premium-grade steel, giving the plate enough rigidity to support heavier euro modules like HDMI couplers or USB charging ports without flexing when cables are inserted or removed. The faceplate carries a 25-year warranty and includes an earth terminal for connecting the metal frame to the back box earth.

Frequently Asked
What euro modules fit this faceplate?
The faceplate accepts any standard euro module with 25 x 50mm or 50 x 50mm dimensions. Common modules include HDMI couplers, USB charging ports, coaxial TV sockets, RJ45 data ports, 3.5mm audio jacks and telephone sockets. Knightsbridge produces a matching range of modules in the same brushed chrome finish.
What back box depth is required?
The back box depth depends on which euro modules you install. Most HDMI and USB modules need a 35mm minimum depth, while bulkier modules like satellite diplexers may need 47mm. Check the specification of your chosen modules before selecting a back box.
Can I mix different module widths?
Yes. You can fit four 25mm-wide modules, two 50mm-wide modules, or any combination that totals four 25mm units, such as one 50mm module and two 25mm modules.
Is this a screwless plate?
No. This is a screw-fixed faceplate with visible fixing screws at either end. The screws are positioned outside the main aperture area and can be tightened after the euro modules are clipped into place.
