The Knightsbridge 4-gang grid faceplate is a brushed chrome cover plate designed to house four modular grid switches or sockets within a single 146.5mm-wide aperture. The plate has a rounded edge profile with visible fixing screws and is built from premium-grade steel with a brushed chrome finish that resists fingerprints and integrates with the wider Rounded Edge Brushed Chrome range from Knightsbridge.

Used in residential and commercial settings where multiple switching or socket functions need to be grouped in one location, the 4-gang grid system allows installers to configure custom combinations of light switches, dimmer modules, socket outlets, data ports and other grid-compatible modules within a single faceplate. The plate measures 86mm high by 146.5mm wide and projects 7.5mm from the wall once fitted. Installation requires one GDF002F grid mounting frame (sold separately) fixed to a standard 35mm-deep back box.

The brushed chrome finish provides a mid-tone metallic surface that pairs with stainless steel appliances, chrome taps and contemporary fittings across kitchens, bathrooms and commercial interiors. The rounded edge profile softens the visual presence compared to sharp-edged plates while maintaining a clean, defined border around each grid aperture. This faceplate requires one GDF002F grid mounting frame, sold separately. The mounting frame fixes to a standard 35mm-deep back box, and individual grid modules then clip into the frame before the faceplate is screwed over the assembly.

How many grid modules does it hold?

The 4-gang faceplate holds four standard single-width grid modules. Some grid modules occupy two or three module widths, so check the specific module dimensions when planning your configuration.

Is it compatible with other Knightsbridge ranges?

This is part of the Knightsbridge Grid System and is not compatible with standard Knightsbridge switches or sockets outside the grid range. It coordinates visually with the Rounded Edge Brushed Chrome switches and sockets range but uses a different mounting method.

Can it be used in bathrooms?

The IP20 rating suits dry indoor locations only. For bathrooms, kitchens or other wet areas, an IP-rated grid system with appropriate zone compliance is required.
