The Knightsbridge 4-gang grid faceplate is a brushed chrome screwless cover plate designed to house four grid modules from Knightsbridge's modular grid system. The plate measures 148mm wide by 88mm high and is constructed from premium-grade steel with a brushed chrome finish that hides fingerprints and minor marks better than polished finishes.

Grid faceplates allow custom switch and socket configurations by combining individual grid modules (switches, dimmers, sockets, data ports) behind a single unified cover plate. This 4-gang plate accommodates four single-width grid modules or two double-width modules, and requires one GDS002F grid frame (sold separately) to mount the modules behind the faceplate. The screwless design clips onto the frame, leaving no visible fixings on the wall once installed.

This faceplate requires one GDS002F grid frame (sold separately) to mount the grid modules behind the plate. You also need four single-width or two double-width grid modules (switches, dimmers, sockets, etc.) to populate the frame. The frame fixes to a standard UK back box, then the modules clip into the frame, and finally this screwless plate clips over the frame.

What back box depth is required?

The frame and modules fit a standard 25mm or 35mm back box depth, depending on the specific grid modules being used. Check the specification for your chosen modules to confirm the minimum back box depth needed.
