Description

The Knightsbridge multimedia combination plate provides four 13A double-pole switched sockets alongside two apertures sized for eight Euro module inserts (25 x 50mm), combining mains power and signal distribution in a single 297.5 x 179.5mm screwless faceplate. The matt white finish covers a premium-grade steel sub-frame, with a matching white insert behind the apertures.

Designed for home offices, AV walls, kitchens requiring both power and data/AV connectivity, and new-build or renovation projects where cable runs for mains and low-voltage signals converge at a single point. The plate accepts Knightsbridge Euro modules including HDMI, satellite, networking (Cat6), USB charging, speaker terminals, phone line, and coaxial connections, allowing each installation to be configured to the specific signal needs of the room. All four socket outlets carry double-pole switching, isolating both live and neutral when switched off.

The screwless cover plate clips onto the steel sub-frame, which is fixed to a 35mm minimum back box (deeper boxes recommended where multiple cables terminate behind the plate). The matt white finish provides a low-glare neutral surface that sits comfortably in white or light-toned interiors without the reflective contrast of polished finishes. The 4.5mm projection from the wall once fitted keeps the plate profile minimal. Each of the four sockets is rated at 13A, handling up to 3,120W per outlet on 230V mains.

What back box depth is required?

The minimum back box depth is 35mm, but a deeper box (47mm or dual-box) is recommended where multiple mains cables and low-voltage signal cables terminate behind the plate. The recessed depth of the plate itself is 21.2mm.

What Euro module inserts fit the apertures?

The plate accepts standard 25 x 50mm Euro modules. Knightsbridge produces modules for HDMI, satellite F-type, Cat6 networking, USB charging, 3.5mm audio, speaker terminals, coaxial, and phone line. Up to eight single-width modules or four double-width modules can be fitted across the two apertures.

Are the modules included?

No. The plate is supplied with blanking inserts covering the module apertures. Euro modules are sold separately, allowing each installation to be configured to the specific signal requirements of the room.

Is the screwless plate removable for redecorating?

Yes. The matt white cover plate clips onto the steel sub-frame and can be removed for painting or decorating around the socket, then re-clipped without re-wiring.
