Description

This Knightsbridge 3-light ceiling spotlight plate mounts three independently adjustable GU10 spotlight heads on a circular brushed chrome backplate. Each head rotates 300° and tilts 90°, allowing light to be directed at artwork, worktops, reading positions or architectural features without needing multiple fixed ceiling points.

Designed for kitchens, home offices, hallways and retail spaces where directed task or accent lighting is needed, the fitting suits ceiling heights of 2.4m or above and can also be wall-mounted to provide directed uplight or downlight. The 32mm diameter backplate and 110mm projection keep the fitting compact enough for low ceilings without compromising head movement. Each spotlight takes a standard GU10 bulb (sold separately) up to 50W per head, giving a maximum combined load of 150W across all three.

The brushed chrome finish on the steel construction provides a cool metallic accent that pairs cleanly with modern kitchens, bathrooms and commercial interiors. The IP20 rating limits the fitting to dry indoor locations — not suitable for bathrooms unless outside defined zones. Dimmer compatibility depends on the GU10 bulb choice: pair with dimmable LED or halogen GU10s to use with a trailing-edge dimmer.

What bulbs does it take?

Each of the three heads takes a standard GU10 bulb (twist-and-lock base) up to 50W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with GU10 LED bulbs between 4-7W and 3000K-4000K for kitchen or office task lighting.

Can it be used on a wall?

Yes. The fitting can be ceiling-mounted or wall-mounted. Wall mounting works well to provide directed uplight onto feature walls or downlight onto worktops and desks.

Is it dimmable?

Dimming depends on the GU10 bulb you fit. If you use dimmable LED or halogen GU10 bulbs and pair them with a compatible trailing-edge dimmer, the fitting will dim. Non-dimmable GU10 LEDs will not dim and may flicker if connected to a dimmer circuit.

What's the IP rating — can it be used in bathrooms?

The fitting carries IP20, which limits it to dry indoor locations. It cannot be used in bathroom zones 1 or 2 (near showers, baths or basins). It can be used outside bathroom zones if the room has adequate ventilation to prevent condensation forming on the fitting.
