Description
This Knightsbridge 3-light bathroom spotlight plate mounts three independently adjustable GU10 spotlight heads on a 246mm circular ceiling plate in a matt black pressed steel finish. Each head tilts up to 90° and rotates 350° on its mounting, allowing all three beams to be directed independently for task lighting over mirrors, basins and shower zones. The IP44 rating protects against splashing water, making the fitting suitable for Zone 2 and outside bathroom zones.
Designed for bathrooms, en-suites and cloakrooms where directed task light is needed, the triple spotlight plate provides flexible illumination without requiring three separate ceiling cut-outs. The 122mm projection from the ceiling means the fitting works in rooms with 2.4m or higher ceilings without the heads encroaching into head height. Each head accepts a GU10 lamp up to 20W (lamps sold separately), giving a combined 60W maximum output when all three positions are fitted.
The matt black pressed steel construction and clear glass fronts give a functional, industrial appearance that pairs with contemporary and minimalist bathroom schemes. The smooth matt finish resists fingerprints and water marks better than polished surfaces. Each spotlight head is independently wired to the same feed, so all three can be controlled from a single switch, or dimmable GU10 lamps can be fitted to allow dimming via a compatible wall dimmer.

Frequently Asked
Can this be used in a bathroom shower area?
The IP44 rating makes the fitting suitable for Zone 2 in bathrooms (areas within 0.6m of a bath or shower tray) and anywhere outside the defined zones. It is not rated for Zone 0 or Zone 1 (inside or directly above the shower enclosure or bath). For steam rooms or shower cubicles, a higher IP rating is required.
What bulbs does it take?
Each spotlight head takes a standard GU10 lamp up to 20W maximum. Lamps are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED GU10 lamps between 4-6W and 3000K for bathroom task lighting. The fitting accepts both halogen and LED GU10 lamps.
Is it dimmable?
Dimming depends on the GU10 lamp fitted. If you fit dimmable GU10 LED lamps and pair the fitting with a compatible LED dimmer switch, the light output can be dimmed. Non-dimmable lamps will not dim and may flicker or fail if connected to a dimmer circuit.
How much ceiling height does it need?
The fitting projects 122mm from the ceiling when the heads are angled downwards. In a typical 2.4m-high bathroom this leaves approximately 2.28m clearance, which is sufficient for most installations. Lower ceilings may feel cramped if the fitting is positioned in a walkway rather than above a fixed feature like a basin.
