Description

The Knightsbridge 20AX 2-way SP key switch module is a single-pole key-operated switch marked 'EMG LTG TEST' for emergency lighting test circuits. The module clips into modular grid frames (sold separately) from the front without tools, and includes a removable key that restricts operation to authorised personnel only. The 20AX rating at 230V handles loads up to 4,600W on a single pole.

Designed for emergency lighting systems in commercial buildings, schools, hospitality venues and residential developments where Building Regulations require monthly and annual testing of emergency luminaires. The key-operated control prevents casual switching that could disable emergency lighting circuits during normal use. The 2-way switching configuration allows the module to be paired with a second switch location if required, or used as a simple on/off control in a single-location installation.

The smoked bronze finish is a dark metallic bronze tone with a subtle brushed texture that sits between matt black and polished bronze in appearance. The module construction uses ABS polymer for the faceplate and steel for the switching mechanism. At 24.8mm wide the module occupies a single grid position in Knightsbridge's modular system, allowing it to be combined with sockets, data ports and other modules on a single faceplate. The 17.3mm recessed depth fits 35mm minimum back boxes.

No. This module clips into Knightsbridge modular grid frames which are sold separately. You will need a frame sized to accommodate the number of modules you want to install (1-gang, 2-gang, 3-gang or 4-gang frames are available).
