The Knightsbridge 20A 1-gang double-pole switch provides control for fixed appliances such as water heaters, electric showers and commercial kitchen equipment. The 20A rating handles loads up to 4,600W on 230V mains, and the double-pole switching isolates both live and neutral lines when the switch is in the off position, providing additional safety over single-pole switching for high-draw appliances.

Designed for residential bathrooms, kitchens and utility rooms where fixed appliances require dedicated switching, the switch fits a standard 25mm minimum depth back box and uses screw terminals for solid core or stranded cable. The square edge faceplate sits flush to the wall with a 10.5mm projection from the mounting surface, and the integrated gasket between the faceplate and back box improves resistance to dust ingress in dry indoor environments (IP20 rating).
