This textured mushroom ornament in resin brings a pair of hedgehogs into the home, the two of them tucked up together at the foot of a tall, pale stem. The cap rises to a point like a woodland toadstool, and its surface is worked in close rows of a rope-like texture that catch the light and give it real depth. Beneath the cap, the stem has a wood-effect finish, scored with fine grain lines and small cracks, so it reads like a piece of weathered timber. The hedgehogs, one larger with its arms folded and one smaller at its side, are painted in russet brown with soft cream faces.
