Description

The Knightsbridge 2-gang modular faceplate is a polished brass flat plate designed to house custom configurations of euro module inserts. The 87.5mm square plate accepts either two 25x50mm euro modules side-by-side or a single 50x50mm euro module, allowing installers to build bespoke wall outlets for TV coax, ethernet data, HDMI, USB charging, telephone lines, or other low-voltage connections in any combination the installation requires.

Designed for residential and commercial AV installations where standard sockets do not provide the right mix of connections, the faceplate fits a standard UK wall back box and uses visible fixing screws at the top and bottom. The 2.5mm projection from the wall gives an ultra-flat profile that sits close to the surface, reducing snagging risk and maintaining a low visual footprint. The built-in gasket helps seal the edge of the plate against the wall, preventing dust ingress behind the faceplate.

The premium-grade steel construction is finished in polished brass, providing a warm metallic accent that pairs with traditional, classical and warm-toned contemporary interiors. The polished surface develops a natural patina over time unless regularly buffed. The faceplate includes an earth terminal and carries an IP20 rating for indoor dry-location use. The faceplate accepts two standard 25x50mm euro modules or one 50x50mm euro module. Common inserts include TV coax outlets, RJ45 ethernet data sockets, HDMI couplers, USB charging modules, and telephone sockets. Euro modules are sold separately and clip into the aperture behind the faceplate.

What back box depth is required?

The required back box depth depends on the euro modules being used. Most euro modules need a minimum 25mm back box, but bulkier modules like HDMI couplers or certain data sockets may require 35mm or deeper. Check the specification of your chosen euro module before installation.

Is this a screwless faceplate?

No. This is a flat plate design with visible fixing screws at the top and bottom. Knightsbridge produces screwless versions of modular faceplates in other ranges if a screw-free finish is required.
