Description

The Knightsbridge 2-gang modular faceplate in anthracite accepts two 25 x 50mm euro modules or a single 50 x 50mm euro module, allowing custom AV, data, HDMI, USB or telephone configurations behind a screwless cover plate. The anthracite finish is a dark grey-black tone that pairs with both contemporary and industrial interiors, and the screwless design means no visible fixings once the plate is clipped onto its sub-frame.

Designed for residential media walls, home offices and commercial AV installations where standard sockets do not provide the required connectivity, the faceplate sits 87.5mm square and projects just 4.3mm from the wall once fitted. The modular approach means you can populate the apertures with the exact euro modules needed — HDMI, CAT6, USB-A, USB-C, coaxial, speaker terminals — and change them later without replacing the faceplate itself.

The faceplate is cut from premium-grade steel with an anthracite powder-coated finish that resists fingerprints and minor scuffs better than painted plastic alternatives. A built-in gasket sits between the cover plate and the sub-frame to give a tight seal against dust ingress. The IP20 rating confirms suitability for dry indoor locations, and the earth terminal on the sub-frame ensures a continuous earth connection when metal euro modules are fitted.

What euro modules does this accept?

The 2-gang aperture accepts two standard 25 x 50mm euro modules side by side, or a single 50 x 50mm euro module. Knightsbridge produces a wide range of compatible euro modules including HDMI, CAT6, USB-A, USB-C, coaxial, phone, speaker terminals and blanks.

What back box depth is required?

The minimum back box depth depends on the euro module used. Most standard euro modules require a 25mm back box, but modules with deeper terminations (such as HDMI or CAT6 modules with rear cable retention) may require 35mm or 47mm boxes. Check the specification of your chosen euro module before ordering the back box.

Is the screwless plate removable for redecorating?

Yes. The anthracite cover plate clips onto a separate steel sub-frame that is screwed to the back box. The cover can be removed for painting or wallpapering around the faceplate and re-clipped without disturbing the euro modules or wiring behind.
