Description
This Knightsbridge 2500mm DC linking power lead connects two lengths of LED strip lighting across gaps too wide for direct connection. The cable carries 12V or 24V DC power between strips, using male barrel connectors at each end that plug directly into the strip controller output and the strip input. The 2.5m length handles installations where strip sections are separated by doorways, corners, or architectural features.
Common applications include linking under-cabinet strips in L-shaped kitchens where the counter wraps around a corner, connecting strips on opposite sides of a retail display, or running power between strip sections mounted on different walls in the same room. The cable routes behind cabinetry, along skirting, or through cable channels, keeping the connection hidden while maintaining uninterrupted power flow between sections.
The flexible PVC-insulated cable can be bent around tight corners without kinking and the barrel connectors ensure a stable connection that won't work loose under normal use. The cable supports both 12V and 24V DC strip systems without modification, making it compatible with most low-voltage LED strip installations in residential, retail and commercial settings.

Frequently Asked
What connector type does it use?
The cable has male barrel connectors at each end, which are the standard connector type for most 12V and 24V LED strip lighting systems. Check that your LED strips use compatible barrel-style DC connectors before ordering.
Can I use this with RGB or single-colour strips?
This is a simple power linking cable designed for single-colour LED strips. For RGB or RGBW systems you need a multi-conductor cable that carries the separate red, green, blue and white signals between strip sections.
Does the cable length affect brightness?
At 2500mm the voltage drop is negligible for standard low-current LED strip installations. If you notice dimming between strip sections, the issue is more likely an undersized power supply rather than cable length.
Can the cable be cut to a shorter length?
The cable can be shortened and re-terminated if you have the correct barrel connectors and crimping tools, but this will void the warranty. For shorter runs, Knightsbridge produces linking leads in 500mm, 1000mm and 1500mm lengths.
