Description

The Knightsbridge 1-gang modular faceplate provides a single aperture for euro module inserts, allowing custom configuration of HDMI, USB, data, phone or other low-voltage connections behind a polished chrome screwless plate. The 87.5mm square faceplate is manufactured from 201 stainless steel with a polished chrome finish that reflects light and pairs with other chrome or metallic accessories.

Designed for media walls, home office data points, AV installations and smart home control panels, the faceplate accepts any standard 25mm euro module insert (sold separately). Common applications include configuring HDMI + USB + CAT6 data behind a wall-mounted TV, adding dual USB charging points at a desk, or terminating telephone and network cables at a dedicated low-voltage plate. The screwless cover clips onto a separate metal sub-frame, hiding all fixings once installed.

The 2.5mm plate depth and minimal 2.5mm projection from the wall give a low-profile finish that sits flush with plasterboard or masonry. The built-in gasket between the faceplate and sub-frame provides a tight seal against dust ingress (IP20 rated) and reduces flex when inserting or removing cables from the modules. The 201 stainless steel construction carries a 25-year guarantee and maintains its finish in high-traffic residential and commercial environments.

What modules does this faceplate accept?

The faceplate accepts any standard 25mm euro module insert, including HDMI, USB, CAT5e/CAT6 data, coaxial, phone, audio speaker terminals, or blanking modules. Modules are sold separately and click into the aperture from the front once the faceplate is installed.

What back box is required?

A standard 25mm minimum depth back box is needed. For AV or data installations where multiple cables terminate, a 35mm or 47mm deep box provides more space for cable management behind the modules.

Is the screwless plate removable?

Yes. The polished chrome cover plate clips onto a separate metal sub-frame that fixes to the back box. The cover can be removed for decorating or reconfiguring modules and re-clipped without disturbing the wiring.

Can multiple faceplates be ganged together?

Knightsbridge produces 2-gang and 3-gang modular faceplates in the same finish for installations requiring multiple euro module apertures. Search for the 2-gang or 3-gang variants to add more connection points on the same wall plate.
