Description

The Knightsbridge 1-gang modular faceplate accepts a single 25x50mm euro module insert behind a brushed chrome square-edge plate. The faceplate itself is just the housing — the actual socket, data port, HDMI port, USB port or telephone connector is purchased separately as a euro module and clips into the aperture from behind.

Designed for custom AV, data and telecommunications installations where the exact combination of ports needs to be tailored to the room, the modular system allows installers to build bespoke wall plates without ordering pre-configured multi-port faceplates. The 89x89mm plate fits standard UK single-gang back boxes and includes an earth terminal for safe integration with metal-clad wiring systems.

The square-edge profile gives a flush, defined border around the plate perimeter rather than the rounded chamfer seen on traditional designs. The brushed chrome finish is a directional satin texture that reduces fingerprint visibility and pairs well with stainless steel appliances, chrome taps and contemporary hardware. The premium-grade steel construction includes a built-in gasket behind the faceplate for improved dust resistance and a tighter fit to the wall.

What euro modules fit this faceplate?

The faceplate accepts any standard 25x50mm euro module insert, including HDMI, CAT5e/CAT6 data, coaxial TV, USB-A, USB-C, telephone RJ11, 3.5mm audio and blank modules. Knightsbridge produces a full range of compatible modules sold separately at Niori.

Is the faceplate sold with a module included?

No. The faceplate is just the housing. You need to purchase the euro module insert separately depending on what connection type you need — HDMI, data, USB etc.

What back box depth is required?

The faceplate fits a standard UK single-gang (86x86mm or 89x89mm) back box. A 25mm minimum depth is recommended to accommodate the euro module and any cabling behind it.
