Description

The Knightsbridge 1-gang modular faceplate is a brushed brass screwless plate designed to accept euro module inserts for TV, data, HDMI, USB, audio and telephone connections. The single-gang aperture accommodates one or two euro modules depending on the insert configuration, allowing bespoke media and data installations to match the finish of surrounding switches and sockets.

Designed for media walls, home office desks, AV racks and smart home control panels, the faceplate fits a standard 25mm UK back box and uses a screwless cover plate that clips onto a separate metal sub-frame. Once installed, no visible fixings appear on the wall surface. The built-in gasket between the cover plate and sub-frame improves the fit against uneven plaster and reduces dust ingress behind the plate.

The brushed brass finish is applied to 201 stainless steel, giving a warm metallic tone that complements traditional, transitional and warm-toned contemporary interiors. The plate measures 87.5mm square with rounded corners and sits 2.5mm proud of the wall once fitted. The IP20 rating confirms suitability for dry indoor locations. What euro modules fit this faceplate?

The 1-gang aperture accepts one or two standard euro module inserts depending on width. Common inserts include HDMI, USB-A, USB-C, RJ45 Cat6 data, satellite F-type, coaxial TV, 3.5mm audio and telephone modules. Modules are sold separately and clip into the aperture from the front once the back box wiring is complete.

What back box depth is required?

A 25mm minimum back box depth is needed. The faceplate and euro module inserts together require approximately 20-22mm of depth behind the wall surface, so a 25mm box provides clearance for cables and module terminations.

Is the screwless plate removable for redecorating?

Yes. The cover plate clips onto a separate metal sub-frame fixed to the back box. The cover can be removed for painting around the plate and re-clipped without disturbing the wiring or euro modules.
