Description

The Knightsbridge 1.8m E27 Vintage Track Pendant is a single-bulb pendant fitting designed to clip into Knightsbridge TRKxx series track lighting systems. The pendant features a die-cast aluminium and polycarbonate lamp holder with a knurled grip section, suspended on a 1.8m black fabric-covered cable that terminates in a pre-wired track adaptor. The E27 socket accepts standard Edison screw bulbs up to 60W, with dimming dependent on the bulb choice.

Designed for installation onto ceiling-mounted track systems, the pendant suits kitchens, dining areas, commercial hospitality spaces and retail environments where individual pendants need to be positioned at specific intervals along a track run. The 1.8m drop allows the pendant to be suspended over a kitchen island, bar counter or dining table in rooms with ceiling heights between 2.4m and 3.2m. The cable can be shortened during installation by looping the excess inside the track void, though cutting the cable is not advised as it voids the electrical safety testing.

The die-cast aluminium lamp holder weighs approximately 180g and includes a threaded collar that accepts lampshades with a 42mm internal ring diameter, allowing the bare bulb to be dressed with period or decorative shades. The black finish on both the holder and the fabric cable pairs with industrial, warehouse and contemporary interiors. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor environments only.

Which track systems is this compatible with?

The pendant is pre-wired with a Knightsbridge TRKxx series adaptor and clips directly into any TRKxx track rail. It is not compatible with other manufacturers' track systems without an adaptor change.

Can the cable length be shortened?

Yes, but do not cut the cable as this voids the electrical safety certification. Instead, loop the excess cable inside the track void during installation to reduce the visible drop length.

What bulb should I use?

The pendant accepts any E27 bulb up to 60W. For a vintage aesthetic, pair with a filament LED bulb in warm white (2200K-2700K). Dimming capability depends on the bulb specification and the track system's dimmer compatibility.

Can I add a lampshade?

Yes. The lamp holder includes a threaded collar that accepts shades with a 42mm internal ring diameter. Adding a shade changes the light distribution and visual weight of the pendant.
