Description

The Zero Round is a single, slim LED ring pendant light, 193cm across and just 3cm tall, that hangs flat on fine suspension wires. Its integrated LED needs no bulb: it draws 88W and gives 8158 lumens with a CRI of 90, so food, faces and fabrics look true to colour beneath it. The light glows from the inner edge of the ring, leaving the outer band as a clean line of colour. We offer it in White, Black, Brushed Champagne, Brushed Bronze, Brushed Brass and Brushed Titanium, and with a colour temperature of 2700K or 3000K: the warmer white for relaxed evenings, the slightly fresher one for a brighter everyday light.

At this size the ring belongs in a generous room: hung level over a long dining table or in the middle of a large living room, it spreads a wide circle of light rather than one bright spot. It hangs on a drop of up to 500cm, which gives plenty of room for tall ceilings. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only. The pendant comes without its canopy and does not work on its own: it needs the Zero Round 100W ceiling canopy, sold separately, whose built-in 100W 24V driver powers the ring at 24V DC and makes it dimmable by DALI or push dimming.

Because the ring runs at 24V DC from that driver, it is a Class III fitting, and the whole light is wired in to the mains by a qualified electrician through the canopy. A ring this wide reads as a single fine line across a room, so one is often enough over a large table, while two or more hung at different heights give a layered look in a bigger space. When you order, choose the finish and the colour temperature you want, and add the canopy, since the ring cannot light without it. Our photographs show the white version.
