Description

This is a set of four stoneware mugs, each holding 525ml, which puts them firmly in large mug territory: a proper builder's tea, a long milky coffee or a generous hot chocolate fits comfortably. Each mug stands 11cm tall and 10.5cm across on a small footed base, with a wavy scalloped rim and a curved handle, both picked out in pink. The pattern comes in two designs, two mugs of each: one is covered in a close trellis of tiny sprigs, the other carries a single ornate medallion, both drawn in pink.

We see these as Christmas mugs first. The pink detailing suits a festive breakfast table, a tray carried up on Christmas morning or a round of mulled drinks after a winter walk, and the two designs look good mixed along a table.
