This is the Winter Woods cushion, a 50 x 50cm square woven in soft chenille jacquard rather than printed. The pattern is a woodblock-inspired scene of woodland creatures and trees, stags, hares, squirrels and birds set among ferns and foliage, and because it is jacquard the design is built into the weave itself. That gives the taupe motifs a raised, slightly velvety hand against the paler cream ground, so the picture is something you feel as much as see. A neat piped trim runs right around the edge.
