Description

This Whiteberry flush ceiling light pairs a ribbed blown-glass shade with iron in a gold finish. The white glass is formed as two rounded, lantern-like sections stacked one above the other, pinched at the middle by a gold collar, with a gold ring at the ceiling and another at the base. Inside is an integrated LED, so there is no bulb to fit: it gives 600 lumens from 10W at a warm 3000K, with a colour rendering index of 90 or more, so fabrics, food and skin tones look true. The glass spreads that light all the way round, a full 360 degrees. It is 45cm tall and 20cm across, with a 12cm canopy at the ceiling.

Because it fixes flush to the ceiling with no stem, it suits rooms where you want more presence than a plain ceiling light but a long pendant would be too much. It works well in a bedroom, a hallway or landing, or above a compact dining table, and its slim 20cm width keeps it in proportion in smaller rooms. Rated IP20, it is for dry rooms only. The warm white light and modern lines suit a contemporary scheme, and the gold trim brings warmth to cool, pale walls.
