Description

This is a long, linear pendant from our Whiteberries range: five ribbed glass shades set in a horizontal line, alternating rounded and cylindrical forms, joined by matt black connectors. The shades are blown glass with fine ribs running around them, and the metalwork is iron in a matt black finish, hung on a textile cable. The light is integrated LED, so there is no bulb to fit. It draws 24W and gives 1400 lumens of warm 3000K light, with a 360° beam that lets the ribbed glass glow all round, and a CRI of 90 or more, so colours on the table look true.

A linear pendant is made for a long surface, and this one sits naturally over a dining table, a long sideboard or a reception desk, where its five shades spread light along its length rather than pooling it in one spot. The warm 3000K tone is easy on the eye over a long meal, and its modern lines sit well with timber, stone and plaster. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only. It comes with a 2m textile cable and runs on 220-240V mains.

The iron metalwork and connectors carry a matt black finish that contrasts crisply with the white ribbed glass, giving the pendant a graphic, beaded outline when it is switched off and a soft glowing line when it is on. As a mains fitting, it is for a qualified electrician to install. It carries a 5 year guarantee. For styling, centre it along the length of your table and keep the other lighting in the room low and warm, so the five lit shades draw the eye.
