Description

This 10x20cm pillar candle graduates from white at the top through to a metallic green base in an ombre fade. Made from 100% paraffin wax using traditional European manufacturing methods, the candle carries a specially designed wick engineered to burn cleanly without excessive smoking or dripping. The metallic finish on the lower half gives a subtle reflective quality when lit.

Designed for use on dining tables, mantels, console tables and centrepieces, the 10cm diameter provides stability on flat surfaces without needing a holder, though most users pair it with a plate or tray to catch any wax drips. The 20cm height gives enough presence for a dining table without blocking sightlines across the table when seated. The 190-hour burn time means the candle lasts through multiple evenings of use before needing replacement.

The white upper section burns down first, gradually revealing more of the green metallic base as the candle shortens. The ombre transition sits roughly at the midpoint, so the candle shows predominantly white colouring in its first half of burn time and increasingly green tones in the second half. The 1.3kg weight gives the candle a solid feel and helps prevent it tipping if knocked lightly.

The candle has an approximate burn time of 190 hours under normal indoor conditions. This assumes the candle is burned in sessions of 2-4 hours at a time with the wick trimmed to 5-10mm before each lighting. Continuous burning or burning in draughty conditions will reduce the burn time.

Does it need a holder?

The 10cm diameter base is stable on flat surfaces, so the candle can be used without a holder. Most users place it on a plate, tray or candleholder to catch any wax drips and protect the surface underneath.

Is the metallic finish safe to burn?
