The Weaver throw is woven in a herringbone design, that zigzagging chevron pattern that runs the length of the cloth and gives the fabric its texture as much as its look. The gold colourway here mixes warm amber and tan tones through a cream ground, so the surface reads as flecked rather than flat, and one edge carries a band of twisted tassels around 10cm long. It measures 130 x 180cm, a generous single-person size that drapes over a sofa arm or folds across the foot of a bed without overwhelming either.

This is a throw for the room you actually sit in. Over the back of a sofa it softens a hard line and adds a layer to reach for on a cold evening; laid across an armchair it gives a plain seat something to look at. The gold sits happily with earthy, neutral schemes: wood furniture, cream walls, warm-toned rooms.
