Vienna Set of 2 Blossom Trays - Antique Gold Mirrored Glass

The Vienna is a set of two square serving trays, each measuring 45cm across and 4cm deep, built from mirrored glass bases with etched blossom patterns and antique gold-finished metal frames. The mirror surface reflects light and surroundings from below, while the etched floral design adds a decorative layer visible when items are placed on the tray or when viewed from above.

Designed for use on coffee tables, console tables, ottomans and bar carts, the trays function as organisers for remote controls, glassware, candles and small decorative objects while adding a reflective accent to the surface beneath. The twin handles on each tray are recessed into the metal frame, allowing the trays to be lifted and moved without protruding beyond the 45cm footprint. The 4cm depth provides enough rim height to contain spills from drinks or prevent smaller items from sliding off.

The antique gold finish on the metal frames shows tonal variation and subtle patina effects that differ between individual pieces, giving each tray a slightly different appearance when placed side by side. The mirrored glass base is toughened rather than standard float glass, adding impact resistance for everyday use. The combined glass and metal construction gives each tray a 2.3kg weight, providing stability when loaded with glassware or bottles without feeling fragile when lifted empty.

The etched blossom pattern is applied to the reverse of the mirror, so the design sits beneath the reflective surface rather than on top of it. This protects the etching from wear and allows the mirror to be wiped clean without affecting the floral detail. The set includes two identical trays, allowing them to be used as a pair on a long console or coffee table, or separated to different surfaces across a room.

Can the trays hold hot items?

The mirrored glass base can tolerate warm items such as teapots or coffee cups, but placing extremely hot cookware directly from an oven or hob onto the mirror may cause thermal shock and cracking. Use a trivet or coaster beneath very hot items.

How is the mirror cleaned?

Wipe the mirrored surface with a soft microfibre cloth and standard glass cleaner. The etched blossom pattern sits beneath the reflective layer, so cleaning the top surface will not damage or wear the design.

Are the trays identical or different sizes?

Both trays are the same size at 45 x 45 x 4cm. The antique finish on the metal frames may show slight tonal variation between the two pieces due to the artisan finishing process, but the dimensions and design are identical.

Can the trays be used outdoors?

The trays are designed for indoor use. The mirrored glass and antique gold finish are not weatherproofed for outdoor exposure to rain, UV or temperature fluctuation, which may degrade the mirror backing and metal patina over time.
